Langtang Gosainkunda (Holy Lake) trekking for 17 days is perfectly designed for those trekkers who desire and appreciate experiencing frozen Lakes with fresh water at a high elevation at the height of (4,380 m) above sea level.

Langtang Gosainkunda trekking emerges with a scenic bus ride to Syabrubesi and hikes up to Kyanjing Gompa, which arrests Langtang Valley. Retracing backward and catching the right track, we head towards Thulo Syabru. Therefore, continuing to walk forward takes to sight three wonderful lakes at a high altitude of 4,380 m. From there pass numerous temples, monuments, mini walls and pleasing forests walking trail ends at Melamchi Bazaar, and catching a tourist standard vehicle take you to Kathmandu. This trekking trail also encounters numerous stunning peaks of the Langtang region including Langtang Range and Ganesh Himal with many other neighboring mountains too.

Day 1: Arrival day in Kathmandu (1,300 m)

Day 2: Kathmandu sightseeing and trek preparation

Day 3: Kathmandu (1,300) to Syabrubesi (1,460 m)

Day 4: Syabrubesi (1,460 m) to Lama Hotel (2,455 m)

Day 5: Lama Hotel (2,455 m) to Langtang (3,430 m)

Day 6: Langtang (3,430 m) to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870 m)

Day 7: Kyanjin Gompa – (Exploration Day)

Day 1: Arrival day in Kathmandu (1,300 m)
On the first day focusing on your arrival time, our representatives will be awaiting you at Tribhuwan International Airport for a warm welcome after that you will be further transferred towards a fine tourist standard hotel. We also schedule a meeting for introducing you to our trekking members.

Day 2: Kathmandu sightseeing and trek preparation
On the second day soon after attending the morning hot breakfast, we take our step ahead for sightseeing at Pashupatinath Temple, Swyambhunath Stupa, and Boudhanath Stupa which are included on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. After sightseeing at these sites for some hours, we return to finalize our essential equipment which is required for the upcoming trek. This second night will also be spent at the same spot in Kathmandu.

Day 3: Kathmandu (1,300) to Syabrubesi (1,460 m) 9-hour drive 
On the third day after breakfast, our private vehicle drops you at to bus station for catching a tourist standard vehicle to reach Syabrubeshi. Moving ahead from the valley towards the north following Pasang Lamu highway and bypassing numerous settlements, Trishuli Bazaar is extended. From there, following the graveled path and crossing Dunuche take to Syabrubesi for tonight’s accommodation and dinner.

Day 4: Syabrubesi (1,460 m) to Lama Hotel (2,455 m)
On the fourth day after morning breakfast in Syabrubesi, we develop our walk forward by crossing the first bridge of trekking across the Bhote Koshi River. After that steeping ahead, we cross stone-paved trails along numerous settlements and bridges to reach a road junction. From here, the descent walk takes you to Changdam and the night will be spent at the famous Lama Hotel which is located inside the forest.

Day 5: Lama Hotel (2,455 m) to Langtang (3,430 m)
On the fifth day after having breakfast in Lama Hotel, we trigger it behind and continue our walkthrough path of the forest by following the trail. Therefore continuing to walk bypassing numerous settlements along crossing Langtang Khola, we reach Ghodatabela. From there, we ascend to Chamki and chase trek forward catching the trail Langtang (the largest settlement of this area) is offered.  This night will be spent at the lodge in Langtang.

Day 6: Langtang (3,430 m) to Kyanjin Gompa(3,870 m)
On the sixth day leaving Langtang (Tibetan village), we climb up to the ridge, and then a steady ascend takes us to Sindum crossing Mumdu. Therefore passing the cheese factory with a spectacular view of stunning mountains including Langtang Himal to the northwest and Yansa Tsenji and Kinshung towards the north takes to Keynjing Gompa. In the remaining hour, we explore the Kyanjin Gompa area and the night will be spent at the lodge there.

Day 7: Exploration day
As we are already above the height of 3,800 m so focusing upon acclimatization, we don’t develop our trek forward but we stay fully active for the entire day. We plan to walk up towards the east of Keynjing Gompa to explore Tsergo RI or hike up to the glacier as an option. On the remaining hour, you can side trip to the Cheese factory or Keynjing Gompa village throughout and the night will be spent at the same lodge in the same place.

Day 8: Keynjing Gompa (3,870 m) to Lama Hotel (2,455 m)
On the eighth day retracing the same earlier developed trail, we cross several Tamang villages including Langtang and Thyangyap village to reach Ghodatabela which shares Tibetan culture. Therefore, continuing the walk forward by following the trail bypassing opposed monasteries and forests takes to Lama Hotel. This night will be spent at the famous Lama Hotel in Changdam.

Day 9: Lama Hotel (2,455 m) to Thulo Syabru (2,550 m)
On the ninth day of developing trek through the north bank of Langtang River, we walk downhill towards the riverside for crossing a bridge across the river, and after crossing the bridge, the trail drops down following the south bank of the river for passing another bridge to reach Syabrubesi. Therefore, following the uphill trail to the rigid and a little drop-down continuous towards Thulo Syabru. Finally, this night will be spent at the lodge in Thulo Syabru.

Day 10: Thulo Syabru (2,550 m) to Chandanbari (3,330 m)
On the tenth day, we hike up to the rigid to sight awesome views of Ganesh Himal, Langtang Mountain, and other Tibetan Mountains. Therefore, passing an oak and rhododendron forest with a flat trail walk takes you to Shin Gompa by crossing Phuung Gompa. Further, proceed from there, we reach Chandanbari and the remaining hours will be spent exploring the Cheese factory, and Gompa long night will be spent at the lodge.

Day 11: Chandanbari (3,330 m) to Gosainkunda (4,165 m)
On the eleventh day crossing the cheese factory, our gentle ascent takes us to Lauribina for viewing the mountain vistas. Therefore, we move forward passing several roofless huts to reach the pass which offers the first view of the holy lakes. The first Lake (Saraswati Kunda), Second Lake (Bhairab Kunda), and the final largest lake are Goasin Kunda where we walk today. The remaining hours will be spent exploring lakes and this night will spend at the lodge there.

Day 12: Gosainkunda (4,165 m) to Ghopte (3,430 m)
Twelfth day, our forward-developed step following the rocky trail and bypassing a few lakes takes us to Lauribina Passat. Therefore, a steep downhill walk through a rocky trail moves towards Phedi along a gentle upward walk, and downhill to summer pastures offers Ghopte. Tonight’s accommodation and dinner will be managed at the lodge in Ghopte.

Day 13: Ghopte (3,430 m) to Melamchi village (3,530 m)
On the thirteenth day, the initial trail takes us down and later we ascend through the rhododendron forest to the junction point of two opposed trekking trails in Tharepati. Therefore following our trail, we descent to Melamchi (Sherpa village) surrounded by beautiful rhododendron forest. The remaining hours will be spent exploring the monasteries and the village of Melamchi throughout long nights will be spent at the lodge.

Day 14: Melamchi village (3,530 m) to Shermathang (2,590 m)
On the fourteenth day, from Melamchi village e, the developed trail descends up to Melamchi River and after crossing the river, we walk on flat land which makes your walk quite easy to Tarkheghyang. Therefore, we forward descend following the same trial till Setighyang, and following the secondary road from there, we ascend to Ghangyul and then descend to Shermathang. Leisure hours will be spent exploring the village and nights will be spent at the lodge.

Day 15: Shermathang (2,590 m) to Melamchi Bazaar (870 m)
The fifteenth day the last day of our walk begins with a downward march through the meadow and cultivated fields passing numerous temples, monuments, and unique settlements until we reach the Indrawati River to cross the bridge. After crossing the bridge, we move forward to cross another bridge at the junction point of the Indrawati River and Melamchi River. Finally, after steeping Melamchi Bazaar, tonight’s accommodation and dinner will the managed there.

Day 16: Melamchi Bazaar (870 m) to Kathmandu (1,300 m) 4 hours drive
Sixteenth day after sweet early morning breakfast, we move forward to catch a tourist standard vehicle towards the bus station and soon after reaching Kathmandu, you will be picked up by our private vehicle for shifting towards the fine restaurant for farewell dinner.

Day 17: Departure day
On the seventeenth day the last day of your trip, you can go for quick shopping to collect some gifts and memories for your loved ones.  We help you with your necessary arrangements and pack-ups along with our private vehicle transfers you to the airport focusing on your departure schedule. Our representatives will be there at the airport to wish you a safe flight and successful steps ahead.
